Listen for the sounds of battle - cannons and guns. Smell the smoke as Union and Confederate skirmish at close quarters. View the surgeon as he tries to heal the wounded. Relax with the seamstress repairing uniforms. All this and more in remembrance of the War Between The States.

Under the auspices of the Comstock Civil War Reenactors and the Nevada Civil War Volunteers, featured are both Union and Confederate troops and an 1860’s civilian town with living history demonstrations. Highlights include the Fife & Drum corps, a working hospital, Christian Commission, tavern and store fronts offering their wares, such as spinners, weavers, a ladies shop, and more...


Comstock Civil War Reenactors will conduct stunning multi-cannon battles in the Big Field both Saturday and Sunday.

Additional activities include:
Civil War-Era Dance at the Civil War Pavilion. Gus will be Dance Master. Everyone is invited.
Civil War Church Service at the Main Stage. Step back into the past to a more serene atmosphere. 1860’s Church Services with music and singing. Forego your usual service and join us outdoors under the cottonwood trees at the Main Stage.


Nevada Civil War Volunteers will hold demonstrations at the encampment both days.

Additional activities include:
Victorian Fashion Show at the Main Stage. Representatives from all encampments will show "Why they wore what they wore."
