Legends of the West 2014 was held on Flag Day / Fathers Day weekend, June 13 and 14, 2014.

Having June start on a Sunday, not a full weekend this year, is causing a few event reshuffles.

The 2014 Legends of the West Bike and Car Fest is now scheduled for June 13 & 14. We are pleased to be on Flag Day/Father’s Day weekend and we’re already planning some special things to do, prizes to award, etc. to celebrate the occasions.

So mark your calendars now because June is a happening month in the Capital City!

The CCSO 11th Annual Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge will again begin on Friday, with highly skilled motor officers from throughout the country competing for glory. If you have never witnessed this competition, it is fascinating and exciting in a hold-your-breath sort of way. Saturday is the main Show & Shine for both bikes and cars with plenty of food and drink, music and fun for the entire family.

Entry forms and more schedule details will be available shortly - watch this space...

Legends of the West is pleased to be named an "Official Nevada 150 Event".
Check out their web calendar at: https://www.nevada150.org/events-calendar/

Legends of the West 2013 is a memory now, but it was a great event enjoyed by all.  The CCSO 10th Annual Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge was the hottest competition in the West with Officers from as far away as Victoria, BC Canada and Ft. Lauderdale, FLA. The Car & Bike Show & Shine filled the streets from Telegraph to Second, music filled the air, and both participants and visitors had a wonderful time. Visit www.EventsNevada.com/legends.html for all the great pics and videos from Legends. D.B.A. President, Lenny Chappell said, “We are so pleased that this event is being enjoyed by everyone here. We have already heard that we should do this again next year.” As an integral part of Legends, food was collected for the F.I.S.H. Food Bank and a contribution made to the local chapters #1 and #7 of the Disabled American Veterans. Cmdr. Frank Greenwood, past State Commander and current leader of chapter #1, and Stewart MacRichie, chapter #7 treasurer and State-wide D.A.V. Member of the Year, received a check from Lenny on behalf of the event and the D.B.A.
